Continuation of the trainings “Corruption proofing of the Draft Regulatory Acts” for the representatives of the local government

In the period of August 26 – September 11, 2008, the CAPC together with the CCECC conducted 4 training sessions for the representatives of the local public authorities (LPA) on the topic “Corruption proofing of the draft regulatory acts” in the districts of:

  • Ungheni - 26.08.2008
  • Calarasi - 29.08.2008
  • Straseni - 05.09.2008
  • Causeni - 11.09.2008

The target group of the trainings included secretaries of local councils, i.e. persons directly responsible for development of draft normative acts at the local level. Besides, representatives of other structures within local public authorities also attended some of the trainings.

The total number of persons trained within local trainings delivered during August - September 2008 was of 96 persons.

The training agenda was permanently adjusted and improved taking account both participants’ availability and the main objective of the trainings: to promote the corruptibility expertise methodology at the national level as broadly as possible. When developing training materials, the main focus was placed on the specificity of the normative activity carried out at the local level with the use of examples from local regulatory acts.

This event was organized in the framework of the Joint Project of Council of Europe and European Commission against Corruption, Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing in the Republic of Moldova (MOLICO), co-financed by European Commission, Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency and Council of Europe.
